2021 Bishoujo Figures Pre-Orders Part 13 – K/DA Ahri, Ningguang, Klee, Ram, Raphtalia, Yuuki and More

We’ve got a few new good ones from APEX. They are not listed on MFC so keep that in mind when looking for info. The highlight for me this time would be Ahri as I have been playing League since Season 1. Got a new figure for Ningguang and pre-orders for Klee have reopened. There’s also a reissue of Raphtalia as well as a new Ram figure. Yes, Ram — the pink maid. There’s also a bunch of new Nendoroids.

League of Legends – Ahri – 1/7 – K/DA (APEX)

Ahri has become the sex symbol for the League of Legends community since she was introduced. The amount of doujins you can find of her is proof of this. You can’t underestimate the allure of a fox girl.

Ahri is a mid-laner mage with a lot of mobility. If you are not familiar with League of Legends lore, Ahri is from the Vastayan tribe (demihuman). She is a nine-tailed fox based on gumiho in Korean folklore. She feeds on the life essences of individuals while seducing them.

And if you are not familiar with K/DA, it is a virtual K-Pop-inspired girl group comprised of female characters from League. They made their debut in the 2018 League of Legends World Championships in what could be the most memorable opening event in League history. Check out the video below.

The costume she is wearing in the figure here is the same K/DA costume. Over the next few years, K/DA released some more songs that all became popular. Even my wife has been playing their songs on repeat for ages.

As for the figure, money is no object when you’re presented with a figure like this from a game you’ve been playing for over a decade. More so when the figure is this gorgeous. They went full on nine-tails. They could have just gone with the one-tail version but I’m glad they didn’t. The prototype photos look great and I hope they do not disappoint in real life. If you have to ask, yes, this is an automatic pre-order for me.

Heck, just a month ago my wife was asking me if there were any figures of Ahri aside from the Nendoroid that I already have displayed here. At that time, I had to tell her there were no other released figures of Ahri so this is not just for me. It will also be a great surprise for her next year. I can put this here because I know she doesn’t read my blog. At least I think she doesn’t.

Genshin Impact – Ningguang – 1/7 – Eclipsing Star Ver. (APEX)

Yep, she comes with all those accessories. I don’t think she’s open to an international release just yet. But as it went with Klee where the international release was a bit pricier, it’ll probably be the same for Ningguang. Right now, I’m seeing pre-orders priced at around $230 at local stores in my country. I’m putting this here but unfortunately, I could not find any stores that offer international shipping for her. I will be updating this with a link when I find one.

I’ve always held high praises for iDOLM@ater figures but this one just seems lazy and boring. The swing just cuts off right there and it totally ruins the aesthetics of the figure.

Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu – Ram – KD Colle – 1/7 – Battle with Roswaal Ver. (Kadokawa)

It’s so nice that Rem got that much-needed attention. Even when Rem was sidelined for an entire season, all we saw were still figures of Rem and the occasional Emilia. This figure of Ram looks great. And while I am not a fan of the battered and bruised look, I do appreciate the aesthetic and its relevance to the source material.

Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka? Bloom – Tedeza Rize – 1/7 – Gunpuku Ver. (Emontoys)

Here’s another reminder for me to watch the show. The figure looks like it’s of a decent quality. Emontoys is a decent manufacturer though I still prefer her figures with her wearing her cafe uniform.

Oh and the figure above pairs with this figure of Hoto Kokoa. Their prices might be a little too steep for the level of detail you are getting.

Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari – Raphtalia – 1/7 (Kotobukiya)

Knowing Kotobukiya, it was going to happen sooner or later. Now we have a rerelease of everyone’s favorite raccoon waifu. Her prices really exploded in the after-market over the last few years. Don’t miss on pre-ordering this time because I’m pretty sure the price will go up again if you miss this chance since Season 2 is just around the corner. But then, a third reissue would still be happening. That’s one of the reasons why I love Kotobukiya. They give what the fans want and the middle finger to scalpers.

Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld – Yuuki – 1/7 – Swimsuit Ver. (Hobby Stock, Wing)

I am still lacking a Yuuki figure and this one would have been a perfect addition to the swimsuit shelf, but alas. She releases just five months after pre-order and I am still deep in pre-order hell. She dons such a cute expression with a playful and dynamic pose. The skin looks nice and the price isn’t too bad either. If you like SAO, don’t have a figure of Yuuki, and don’t mind displaying sexy figures, then pre-order this one for sure.

THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls – Sajou Yukimi – 1/7 – Sun’s Art Tool’s Box (PLUM)

If you prefer cute and wholesome then this figure is for you. There are a lot of small details that look to be very well done. It’s these kinds of small details that make a good figure a great figure.

Tushan Honghong – Wan Shui Yi Shan Ver. 1/7 (Solarain)

This is from the romance anime Fox Spirit Matchmaker which aired back in 2015. The aesthetic of the figure looks really nice. She’s sitting on what appears to be her massive tail with two fox spirits. She wears traditional Japanese attire with various adornments. You got fox and a more than ample cleavage to check a few more boxes. The water effect is another great touch. This is very good value even for the cheap price if it comes out as pictured. The only caveat here is the manufacturer is unknown to me.

Fate/Grand Order – Medb – Summer Queens – 1/8 – Saber (Our Treasure)

As with all other figures from the Summer Queens line, make sure you are getting the prepainted version if you don’t want to be getting an unpainted version of the figure. Frankly, at that price though, you’re better off buying a better figure. This is only a 1/8 scale and the only thing it’s got going for it is that it’s from a popular franchise.

This is a reissue of the same figure first released in 2019. The after-market value has skyrocketed so many collectors were ecstatic that this got a reissue. Don’t miss it again.

For a while, I had thought Medicos had kicked the bucket already then they come out with this one. You can order the version with the exclusive faceplate at the Medicos Online Store which almost sounds like a store for medical equipment.

Macross 7 – Gubaba – Mylene Jenius – 1/8 – Fire Bomber (MegaHouse)

Despite its age, it’s nice that manufacturers are still releasing figures of Macross 7. Seems way overpriced though.

Nendoroid Pre-Orders

I went and pre-ordered Ruka, Maple and Kokoro. I thought about getting Sally because I was thinking I might regret it later. I realized I most likely won’t so I skipped on her. And while I love playing League, the Sona nendoroid did not appeal to me.
