2021 Bishoujo Figures Pre-Orders Part 4 – Neptune, Kurumi, Megumin, Yunyun, Yuna and More

Can’t get a breather. A ton of new pre-orders came up over the past week.

Choujigen Game Neptune: The Animation – Neptune (Grown-Up) – 1/8 – Neoki Ver. (Broccoli)

I’m not too sure about Broccoli but I hear they’ve been improving on their quality. This Neptune figure, on the other hand, appears to have really “grown up”. Shame it’s only a 1/8 scale though.

Ryuo no Oshigoto! – Sora Ginko – 1/7 – Nekomimi Anedeshi Ver. (Alter)

From the name of the blog, you would probably have guessed that I’m a sucker for cat-ear figures and this figure is just adorable. While this is on the cheap side for something made by Alter, I think it still might be a little too much. I’m not averse to throwing a lot of money on a figure if I feel it’s worth the price tag but this one is not cutting it for me. It’s a simple sculpt and I expect it will have a simple base. If the base was anything special, the photos would have shown it. The only consolation here is that Alter is known to make high quality figures.

Date A Bullet – Tokisaki Kurumi – 1/7 – Idol Ver. (PLUM)

I wouldn’t have expected to see Kurumi in an idol outfit. The figure looks good though the pose is a bit of a generic idol pose but the price seems reasonable enough for the level of detail. Plum makes some decent quality figures but at times have been known to make blunders like broken heads on figures.

Souryuu Asuka Langley | Ayanami Rei | Makinami Mari Illustrious – Shin Seiki Evangelion – 1/7 (Kaiyodo, Union Creative International Ltd)

I only knew Kaiyoko made the Revoltech line and some deformed figures every now and then but it looks like they breached the bishoujo figure market. I wouldn’t say their quality was great and then they’ve partnered with Union Creative which is a hit or miss when it comes to quality. I’m not expecting a great product would come out of this partnership so pre-order at your own risk. Though very simple, the prototype faces look gorgeous though.

Love Plus – Kobayakawa Rinko – B-style – 1/4 – Swimsuit Ver. (FREEing)

This one was expected which completes the Love Plus 1/4 scale trio. If you are a fan of the game and pre-ordered the first two figures then you’ve got no reason to skip this one.

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear – Yuna – F:Nex – 1/7 (FuRyu)

And I thought this was a character that could not be lewded. Color me surprised. If you are a fan of the show, this is a recommended pre-order. You can display her three ways. I’m guessing this comes with 2 bodies, removeable bear hands and a removable bear hood.

Girls Frontline – K2 – 1/7 (Aoshima, Funny Knights)

The figure looks great. The price is a bit steep but that’s a cute butt.

Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! – Chomusuke – Megumin – KD Colle – 1/7 – Light Novel China Dress Ver. (Kadokawa)

This pairs with the Yunyun China Dress version listed below. I only wish the meat bun can be removed from the mouth but that’s highly unlikely. The base has a beautiful Chinese aesthetic and the addition of Chomusuke just makes it better.

Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! – Yunyun – KD Colle – 1/7 – Light Novel China Dress Ver. (Kadokawa)

I think the facial expression could have been better with a simple smiling face but this one ain’t so bad. It shows Yunyun’s clumsiness. Compared to Megumin, this one has a simpler base with no adornments.

Onna Shunin Kishi Mieko – Kishi Mieko – 1/6 – Eigyousaki de Muchitto Kaisuiyoku ver. (Daiki Kougyou)

This is an ecchi figure of Kishi Mieko from the ecchi manga Onna Shunin Kishi Mieko (The Chief Kishi Mieko). This is a cast off figure but take note that only the bra can be removed. Social justice warriors would have a field day if any saw the manga.

Original Character – Sanjuro Eko (Union Creative International Ltd)

This is a cute and busty original character. It is a non-scale but stands at 10.53 inches even in a forward-leaning pose. This is huge and could actually be close to a 1/5 scale.

Juusan Kihei Boueiken – BJ – Minami Natsuno – ARTFX J – 1/8 (Kotobukiya)

Don’t you just love figures with a base that sets a scene? This is one of those figures. I haven’t played the game but knowing that it is made by Atlus, the same guys that created the Persona series, I have high expectations. Kotobukiya is a decent manufacturer as well so this is a must have for fans of the game.

Another figure that creates a scene. Heck, it’s not just the base. It even comes with a background with what I assume is a hotel or any other tall building overlooking the night sky of Tokyo.

Hinami Aoi, the top tier character in the game of life, is now in nendoroid form. The accessories are pretty scarce on this one and I don’t think the after-market price will see a huge increase. I also get a feeling that this is your kind of anime that doesn’t get a second season. I could be wrong though.

Gender-bent White Blood Cell in nendoroid form. How often do you get that amount of boobs in a nendoroid? I say not often. That rocket launcher is a must-have accessory though.
