This time around we’ve got a bunch of new eStream figures, a few from Azur Lane, some FGO, some Vtubers, and a lone Nendoroid of Tsukasa. Someone make a proper scale figure of her already, please.
Azur Lane – Belfast – 1/7 – Iridescent Rosa Ver. (Alter)
This one seems quite overpriced which isn’t very surprising seeing that it’s made by Alter. I’ve passed on some of Alter’s Azur Lane figures due to the pricing but I’m thinking really hard on this one. I’ve already pre-ordered the Belfast Wedding Version figure from APEX. Do I need the Royal Navy head maid in another outfit?
Edit: I bit the bullet and pre-ordered.

Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai – Sakurajima Mai – Shibuya Scramble Figure – 1/7 – Enoden Ver. (Alpha Satellite, eStream)
It’s your favorite bunny girl getting the Estream treatment. I’m sure the figure will look great but take away that backdrop and she’s just a regular 1/7 scale figure. Another gripe here is that the backdrop isn’t even tall enough. You can clearly see that the actual figure is taller with those ears. Promotional photos even show that you can’t take a full picture of the figure without showing the edges of the backdrop. So much for the immersion factor. Also, the background isn’t even relevant to the plot.
If you don’t have a figure of Mai yet, then I’d recommend going for this. In my case, I already have the Aniplex figure with her in the black bunny suit and I’m pretty happy with that one already.

Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu – Rem – Shibuya Scramble Figure – 1/7 – Neon City Ver. (Alpha Satellite, eStream)
A modern twist to an isekaii character. This, along with Rem, could be the best I’ve seen from eStream.

Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu – Ram – Shibuya Scramble Figure – 1/7 – Neon City Ver. (Alpha Satellite, eStream)
If you’re getting Rem, you should definitely be getting Ram. Frankly, I think the cyberpunk aesthetic works better on Ram. However, if you do decide to get both, it will definitely leave more than just a dent in your wallet.

Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu – Rem – F:Nex – 1/7 – Wedding Dress (FuRyu)
It’s Rem in a wedding dress. Though we already have wedding version figures for Ram, Rem, and Emilia, that was more of a wedding lingerie version. This time around, Rem is wearing a proper wedding dress. So if you’re still dreaming about Rem and wedding bells, definitely get this. It’s a shame though that there is no news whether Ram will also get a wedding dress figure.

Azur Lane – Yat Sen – F:Nex – 1/7 (FuRyu)
Always happy to get more Azur Lane figures. However, considering the amount of waifus you can get on Azur Lane, you can easily go broke if you order each and every figure. This time around, we get Yat Sen from the Dragon Empery. This is the default outfit for Yat Sen because Yostar refuses to give her any new skins apart from her oath skin which was released ages ago. I guess we should be thankful she even got an oath skin. We don’t need another Yamashiro or Saratoga skin.

Magia Record Mahou Shoujo Madoka ☆ Magica Gaiden – Tamaki Iroha – F:Nex – 1/7 – Swimsuit ver. (FuRyu)
This one is quite cute. FuRyu has been on a roll this week with several new pre-orders opening. Do note that while FuRyu is mostly decent quality, they can sometimes mess up some details on a figure.

Hololive – Inugami Korone – 1/7 (Spiritale, Wing)
I’m not a big fan of Hololive but this figure is looking great. It looks like it will be of good quality though there is not a lot of information about the quality that Spiritale produces since it is a new company and their first few pre-orders they opened have yet to be released. Wing, as producer, however, is already established and has a good reputation.

Fate/Grand Order – Mordred – 1/7 – Saber, ~Clarent Blood Arthur~ (Good Smile Company)
Mordred doesn’t get a lot of figures compared to the other Saber-faces so this is a nice surprise. It comes with a steep price tag that I would say is reasonable considering the level of detail here. Also, you can always count on Good Smile Company to deliver great quality figures (just don’t expect them to deliver it on schedule) as they rarely meet their release date targets. In any case, I’d take a high-quality figure over a low-quality rushed figure any given day.

Date A Live – Tokisaki Kurumi – KD Colle – 1/7 – Wedding Dress Ver. (Kadokawa)
Kurumi is single-handedly lifting the Date-a-Live franchise. We see a new Kurumi figure just about every week so there are a bunch of options to choose from. While this isn’t the first wedding figure of Kurumi, you should definitely get this one instead of Pulchra’s wedding version. Pulchra does really bad quality. In contrast, KD Colle, which is under Good Smile Company is almost guaranteed to deliver excellent quality.
This one looks like it will be covering a lot of space on a shelf. It looks like it only comes with a cloth base which isn’t so bad. Her face has an adorable flushed expression. You can also display her without the skirt.

Seiken Densetsu 3 Trials of Mana – Riesz (Flare, Square Enix)
When I first saw this was being done by Square, I had a slight moment of panic having remembered the horrendous quality that I see from the Play Arts and Bring Arts lines. It’s not surprising given that the game is their intellectual property. Thankfully, we can rest easy as Square Enix is only acting as distributor. Flare will be handling the production so we can be assured of good quality.

To Aru Majutsu no Index III – Misaka Mikoto – 1/7 (Kotobukiya)
Misaka poses to unleash her railgun attack. This is easily one of the most iconic poses for Misaka. If you love the series and missed the first release of this figure back in 2019, here’s your chance to get her again at pre-order price. The rate at which Kotobukiya does rereleases is a boon to figure collectors and a bane to scalpers.

Koukaku Kidotai S.A.C. 2nd GIG – Kusanagi Motoko – 1/7 (Emontoys)
It’s not as grand as the 1/4 scale exclusive Motoko figure by Good Smile Company, but this definitely will be one of the best especially since most figures of Motoko are old releases and are already very expensive. The figure looks good with its action pose. The base is looking really good. Emontoys also has a reputation for making decent quality figures.

ReVdol! – Jinguji Tamamo – 1/7 (AmiAmi, AniGift)
A cutesy Vtuber with fox ears. I’m at least familiar with Hololive but this is the first time I’ve heard of ReVdol. The figure looks nice. The hair looks like it’s really well-made and the details on the skirt look beautiful as well. Cat and fox ears are always cute so that’s a plus.
So far, AniGift has only released one figure and thankfully it appears to be of decent quality.

Fate/Grand Order – Miyamoto Musashi – 1/7 – Berserker (Alter)
I have long quit playing FGO. I played it on a potato phone before when it was at its height and it ran very slowly. Running it on an emulator wasn’t really a big improvement. Needless to say, I am not in the loop when it comes to the latest FGO lore so I’ve been wondering why Miyamoto Musashi, a Japanese samurai from the Edo period, would be wearing a stars and stripes swimsuit.
Of course, she’ll have a katana but what the heck! She has a gunblade for a sidearm. It’s definitely a beautiful and sexy figure. Thicc thighs and bountiful bosoms on a figure is a sure-fire way to making wallet-kun cry, especially at this price point. It’s hard to stomach at over ¥20,000. A fair price I’d say would be around ¥16,000.

GOOD SMILE Racing – Hatsune Miku – 1/7 – Racing 2013, Rd. 4 Sugo Support Ver. (Good Smile Company)
As of this writing, MFC lists 1,220 figures for Miku so it’s hard to get excited about pre-orders for her. If you’re a hardcore Miku collector, however, then this is something to get excited about. There’s a lot of great detail here. The paint job looks especially great with gradients on the hair and on her suit. The face is looking lively and cute as well. There’s a lot of eye-catching minor details too. Those transparent flaps attached to her suit add a nice touch.
Being priced at less than ¥14,000 makes it a steal. Now if only Alter priced their figures at that level, we’d all be happier. Yes, I’m taking a jab at you Alter.

RED CHESS EXPERIMENT – Shi – 1/7 – Luminous Box
I could not find this anywhere on MFC until it occurred to me that it might be a Chinese thing. A quick look at Google tells me this is based on Chinese Chess Pieces illustrations done by NeBaozi. MFC should really stop being sinophobic. China is no longer a country of bootlegs and knock-offs.
I found this figure listed at AnimeShelf which is where I usually go when I cannot find a Chinese IP figure on MFC. I even created an account so I can track figures I pre-ordered that are not listed on MFC like this Belfast, Klee, and Ahri.
As for the figure itself, it looks great and stays true to the original artwork. I couldn’t get much information about Luminous Box but this is being distributed by Good Smile Company so that could at least be a testament to the level of quality we can expect here.

Zombie Land Saga – Mizuno Ai – F:Nex – 1/7 – Wedding Dress (FuRyu, Mappa)
The colors of the dress look nice. It’s like staring into the vast cosmos. The top part, on the other hand, looks like the wrappings of a mummy. I mean she is a zombie so a mummy isn’t too far off. And what’s up with that extra piece of clothing with long sleeves? This would have been so much better if they just scrapped that part. Also, the price on this one is highway robbery. I can’t justify that pricing just because of the fancy colors on the dress.
Also, this appears to have an exclusive version though I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what’s different about it.

Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken – Milim Nava – Rimuru Tempest – 1/7 (Phat Company)
If you fancy yourself a loli demon lord, here’s one for you. Personally not a fan of the tongue sticking out. I would have favored a winking face expression. The price is on the steep end but Phat Company has really improved on its quality the past few years.

Original Character – Lina Bell Roll – 1/6 (Wing)
Let’s forget for a moment how ridiculous that outfit is. Nah. It’s ridiculous however you look at it. Then you realize she has an alternate bust part that only covers the nipples. It’s kind of like those reverse bunny costumes. If this is right up your alley, I’m not one to judge. Wing does good quality so you’ll be getting a good figure.

Boku ni wa Akumana Shishou ga imasu – Lillia Iriie – 1/5 (Q-Six)
Covering nipples with heart-shaped spandex appears to be the latest craze.
This, apparently, is from a hentai manga. I, however, cannot find any information about the plot. Since the source is hentai, you should know that this is a full-cast off. It is available in two colors and they are priced the same so you can just choose whichever you prefer without straining your wallet any more than it needs to be. With its price, this looks to be a great deal on a 1/5 scale. Q-Six, being under Good Smile Company, also does excellent quality figures.

Eiyuu Densetsu: Hajimari no Kiseki – Altina Orion – 1/8 (Kotobukiya)
My friend has been trying to get me to play the “Legend of Heroes” series, also referred to as the “Trails series” for a while especially since we both loved the Suikoden games. I haven’t gotten to it yet but even now, I am already tempted to get this figure. I have to say this figure looks gorgeous — platinum hair and absolute territory. And while I do prefer figures with a smiling expression, this kind of melancholic expression does have a certain charm to it. It’s like you just want to protect her.
Also, you can count on Kotobukiya to come up with fair pricing.

Gekijouban Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica: Hangyaku no Monogatari – Akemi Homura – B-style – 1/4 – Rabbit Ears Ver. (FREEing)
Despite her gloomy façade, Homura is definitely a fan favorite. She hails that much popularity that she doesn’t even need to don an actual bunny suit to get a B-style figure. Just slap on some bunny ears and we’ll all be fawning over her. Whoever thought up the nightgown + bunny ears combo is a genius.

Nendoroid Pre-Orders
There weren’t a lot of Nendoroids that went up for pre-order in the past week. Just this one.
Tonikaku Kawaii – Yuzaki Tsukasa – Nendoroid (#1664) (Good Smile Company)
While we wait for a proper scale figure of Tsukasa, the Nendoroid will do for now.
Pre-Order Yuzaki Tsukasa Nendoroid at Solaris Japan.
I started the NekoFigs blog in January 2021, 5 years after I’ve started collecting anime figures. It all started with one humble prize figure of Saber Lily which was bought on a whim. Now, I face the big problem of how to deal with over 200 empty boxes.
