This list is not quite complete as I purposely chose not to include figures from shitty manufacturers. If you want to waste your money, go ahead and look for them yourself. With that out of the way, let’s move on to the next part of our figure pre-order recap.
Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu – Emilia – Puck – F:Nex – 1/7 – Shiromuku (FuRyu)
Let’s start it off with an Emilia figure. Yes! You read that right! We have a new Emilia figure. It’s not Rem!
I just learned today that a shiromuku is a wedding kimono. So this figure is basically a Japanese wedding figure. Phat Company already has a wedding version figure for Emilia but this one looks league’s better. However, I’m not expecting a perfect figure given how inconsistent FuRyu has been in terms of it’s quality.

Fate/Grand Order – BB – 1/7 – Devilish Flawless Skin, 2nd Ascension, Moon Cancer (Good Smile Company)
There’s not a lot of good options for BB figures so this one coming out is a good thing. There are two versions of this figure and the tan skin version is below. I prefer this one just because I like the winking expression better. She’s holding that sign but no idea what it says until someone translated it on MFC. Apprarently, it says “Here is the end of the line”.

Fate/Grand Order – BB – 1/7 – Mooncancer, 2nd Ascension (Good Smile Company)
This one is apparently a limited pre-order so you can only get her from a few sites or at the GSC Online Store. Now that I think about it, I don’t have any tan-skinned figures but I prefer the winking face version.

High School DxD NEW – Toujou Koneko – B-style – 1/4 – Bare Leg Bunny Ver. (FREEing)
I’m not sure if my eyes are deceiving me but that almost looks like a cameltoe. With Rias and Koneko getting their bare-leg bunny versions, Akeno should also be getting hers soon. But what about the other girls in the series? We need more High School DXD figures based on artworks from Season 1 and Season 2 when the art was still great.

Touhou Project – Flandre Scarlet – 1/7 (Good Smile Company)
It’s been over 10 years since the Touhou Project anime first aired and we are still getting figures of them. The fan-base must be a real dedicated one and that’s a good thing. The pricing on this one might be too steep though.

Atelier Ryza 2 ~Ushinawareta Denshou to Himitsu no Yousei~ – Reisalin Stout – 1/7 (Wonderful Works)
This opened for pre-order last year and has once again opened for pre-order this week and I hear it’s a limited pre-order. One can never have enough Ryza thighs. I have already pre-ordered the other Ryza figure with her iconic pose. If you missed this one too, don’t worry too much as there’s still a boatload of Ryza figures coming from various companies.

Yurucamp – Shima Rin – 1/7 – Birthday ver. (Wanderer)
I know nothing about Yurucamp but this figure has a lot going on about it. The fruits, the flowers, the dress… There’s even that transparent thing under the dress. I don’t know if that’s supposed to be a half slip. It’s a nice touch but I think the figure would do fine without it.

GOOD SMILE Racing – Hatsune Miku – 1/7 – Racing 2019, Thailand Ver. (Good Smile Company)
It’s just another Miku. Nothing to see here. Move along now. Jokes aside, I didn’t think GSC would ever flaunt Miku’s panties this much. Rear view of the figure shows ’em in full cottony glory.

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Kan – Yuigahama Yui – Yukinoshita Yukino – Shibuya Scramble Figure – 1/7 – Ending Ver. (Alpha Satellite, eStream)
If money isn’t an issue, go ahead and buy this. Personally, I wouldn’t. I already have a few figures of Yukino and Yui and I’m good with those. I think it’s also a bit overpriced. Max I’d pay for this is ¥36,000. On the bright side, it’s not as fancy as the Emilia and Rem Shibuya Scramble figures so there’s less to worry about it arriving in pieces.

Evangelion Shin Gekijouban – Makinami Mari Illustrious (Union Creative International Ltd)
Union Creative seems to be hell bent on delivering large figures with little regard for quality. This is a huge figure of Mari that stands at 33 cm. This is a non-scale but that’s more than a foot tall. If you’re big on getting quality figures, Union Creative might not be your best choice. Their figures are plagued by many sculpt and paint issues. Not as bas as FOTS Japan or B’Full but not up to par with Good Smile Company, Kotobukiya, Max Factory or Alter.

Fate/EXTRA – Nero Claudius – 1/7 – Idol Emperor (Aquamarine, Good Smile Company)
Who would’ve thought we can get a rerelease of a figure from a company that has gone bankrupt. Props to Good Smile Company for getting this done. If I wasn’t already up to neck in pre-orders, I would have added this to the pre-order list. For now, it will have to stay on the wishlist.

Genshin Impact – Klee Spark Knight Ver. 1/7 Scale Figure (MiHoYo)
You wouldn’t see this entry on MFC as they do not allow China-made figures. I added this here because being China-made doesn’t necessarily mean bootlegs anymore. China now actually does good quality figures especially since most of figure production is outsourced to them. This figure of Klee from the ever popular game Genshin Impact got an initial China pre-order and I pre-ordered mine from from a local contact which is much cheaper than the global release they are doing now. I guess it costs extra to distribute outside of China. Given the popularity of the game, I wouldn’t be surprised if the market value for this one skyrockets.

THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls – Takagaki Kaede – Dream Tech – 1/7 – Beautiful Medicine (Wave)
I’m not a fan of idol shows but I’ve always thought iDOLM@STER has one-upped Love Live if we’re talking strictly about figures. iDOLM@STER has a lot of good-looking figures. That’s just my take as a figure-loving non-idol enthusiast. I wish this one had an alternate face plate though.

Jujutsu Kaisen – Kugisaki Nobara – ARTFX J – 1/8 (Kotobukiya)
I’ve graduated from shounen anime more than a decade ago so this one doesn’t spark anything in me. If you want this one, I’ll say go for it. Kotobukiya does good quality and that base looks like great and doesn’t take up much space. I don’t have much space left for displaying figures so I have been quite peeved recently at figures that have unnecessarily large bases. If you own less than 20 figures, the big bases are no big deal but if you’re have over a hundred, you’ll start to hate the companies that make oversized bases.

Original Character – Skytube – Tenshi-chan – 1/6 (Alphamax)
Alphamas does some of the best sexy bishoujo figures out there. Just look at the sculpt of the skin on this prototype. Also notice the paint. She’s got a nice flush on the cheeks. The details on the legging look spot on. And do note that this is a cast-off.

Succubus Stayed Life – Akizono Kanna – 1/6 (Q-six)
This is from a hentai the hentai anime Succubus Stayed Life by Pink Pineapple so obviously it’s going to be a hentai figure. There’s a regular version and a black version which are priced the same.

Explicit images removed. Sorry.
Original Character – Hayasaka Yui – 1/6 (Pink Charm)
Pink Charm is still a new company and this is only their second pre-order. Their first pre-order has not yet released so there’s literally no information on the quality of their work. The prototype looks good though. And if you can’t tell from the promotional photo, this is a hentai figure.

I started the NekoFigs blog in January 2021, 5 years after I’ve started collecting anime figures. It all started with one humble prize figure of Saber Lily which was bought on a whim. Now, I face the big problem of how to deal with over 200 empty boxes.
